Turbliss

Turbliss is an Estonian peat skincare brand that says its products were developed with peatland scientists to source, analyze, and refine therapeutic peat for cosmetic use. The brand has collected more than 20 international beauty awards and describes itself as one of the more decorated names in the category. Turbliss has since merged into Nurme Natural Cosmetics, part of an effort to build Nurme into Estonia’s largest peat-product manufacturer, and its range — including a 24-karat gold face mask — is now sold through Nurme’s site.

Peat from Estonia is mainly sphagnum peat (raised bog) and transitional bog peat. Peat — the organic sediment itself — is used in treatments like peat balneotherapy, peat body wraps, and peat mud pack, most often explored for psoriasis, back pain (chronic low back pain), joint inflammation (osteoarthritis, rheumatic conditions), and eczema (atopic dermatitis).
