Sanatorium Zbyszko

Sanatorium Zbyszko is a medical spa facility in Busko-Zdrój, one of Poland’s historic borowina (peat) health-resort towns. Its treatment menu is built around borowina applications — peat baths, compresses, and plasters — alongside ionophoresis, a treatment that uses electrical current to help drive active compounds from the peat into the skin. Busko-Zdrój’s borowina deposits have supported organized balneotherapy since the 19th century.
